The UNCW Student Emergency Fund is a donor-supported fund currently available for students facing unexpected financial hardships due to COVID-19.

Grants are allocated based on available funding, however, students can apply for aid at any time.

Student Ambassadors

UNCW Student Ambassadors are official student volunteers for the Alumni Association. They volunteer their time to promote and serve the university while working with the association and the rest of the Division for University Advancement, the Chancellor, the Office of Admissions and the community.

Student Philanthropy Council

The Student Philanthropy Council is passionate about making a difference at UNCW. These student leaders create awareness and educate peers about the importance of giving back to UNCW by organizing events and activities, spearheading the class giving campaign and encouraging students to follow in their footsteps.

The dubrai$ers are UNCW advocates who work in the Call Center. Earn money and build your resume with hands-on professional experience while securing critical funding for university priorities. These positions receive an hourly wage with tuition assistance available and have flexible scheduling with weekends off.

UNCW’s annual Give More in 24 Challenge provides a fun, time-limited opportunity to raise money and give back to the areas of campus that you love. Thousands of Seahawks have been inspired to give to the university during the challenge, including more than 430 students just last year.

Connect With Your Alumni Network

Home of the Alumni Association, the Wise Alumni House is located on Market Street, beside the Chancellor’s home. Many UNCW events are held here, and alumni are able to reserve the historic mansion for special occasions. more »

Regional, academic and affinity chapters managed by the Alumni Association support students through scholarships, networking opportunities, and mentor relationships. learn more »

Apply for Scholarships

The association annually provides 20 merit scholarships, totaling more than $50,000 in awards funded by alumni contributions. These scholarships are awarded to incoming, undergraduate and graduate students. Applications are available December through March, through the university's scholarship application.
