The headquarters for Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines has welcomed Susan Childs ’99 as their Chief Financial Officer. Childs has 20 years of experience in finance, previously working with the American Kennel Club and William Peace University. Her strategic financial planning produces effective results, making her the perfect candidate for this job.
Girl Scouts – NCCP oversee troops in 41 counties, including New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick counties. The Girl Scouts’ mission is to support girls of all ages in leadership development and community engagement. Members can be involved through summer camp, badge opportunities, lifelong friendships and service projects.
Childs is an excellent addition to Girl Scouts – NCCP and will accomplish great things as part of the executive board. Her leadership and expertise give her a well-rounded perspective to support the development of girls across NC.
