Len McBride ‘84 published his debut novel “America’s Harvest” in 2023. He tells the story of Lane Kornegay, an American man forced to make difficult decisions after discovering himself the target of a terrorist group. McBride’s novel unravels the complexity of the American dream, and the lengths one takes to protect it.
In addition to writing, McBride has served as the North Carolina State Executive Director of the Farm Service Agency for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He retired in 2020 after a 35-year career.
