YOUR SEAHAWK EXPERIENCE
Why did you choose to attend UNCW?
- I chose to attend UNCW because of the beautiful campus and endless opportunities to grow and get involved with the community.
What is your favorite place on campus?
- My favorite spot on campus is the outside seating around Campus Commons.
What campus student organizations are you part of (outside of Ambassadors)?
- I am in Chi Omega, Pre-PA club, and Eta Sigma Gamma!
What is an accomplishment at UNCW that you are proud of?
- I am proud of making UNCW feel like home by engaging in all available resources and opportunities.
How do you balance your work/school responsibilities with your personal life?
- I keep balance in my life by creating boundaries with myself and reaching out for help when needed.
Where do you see yourself after graduation?
- I see myself getting more involved with the health and fitness community and applying to Physician Assistant School.
What is the best piece of advice you have received?
- Don't be afraid to be yourself and be by yourself — you learn the most about yourself when you engage in things independently.
What advice do you have for students looking to be involved on campus?
- If you truly want to get the most out of your college experience, getting involved is one of the best options. It provides you with endless connections and opportunities to grow internally and externally.
YOUR AMBASSADOR EXPERIENCE
Why did you decide to become an Ambassador with the Division of Advancement?
- I was looking for a way to give back to my community and engage with UNCW. Being a Student Ambassador has been one of the best decisions I have made as a Seahawk.
What is an accomplishment with the Ambassadors that you are most proud of?
- I am proud of leading such a motivating and hard-working group of individuals. It has allowed me to learn professional skills and put myself out there.
What has being an Ambassador taught you about philanthropy and giving back to UNCW (through time, talent & treasure)?
- Being an Ambassador has shown me the importance of giving back to the community and fostering a deeper sense of connection — both personally and among my peers.
