After working in private practice for six years, Gustavo Gasca '10 recently opened his Coastal Pines Dental in Wilmington. A Pender County native, Dr. Gasca graduated Summa Cum Laude and discovered his passion for dentistry as a senior, when he was volunteering at St. Mary’s Dental clinic.

The new space for Coastal Pines was designed with patient’s comfort in mind -- from the color palette to a beverage bar to TVs and headphones for a viewing experience. Coastal Pines Dental is dedicated to providing a reimagined dental experience with each visit.

"We want to be able to offer the best dentistry in the most homey environment," he said. "I want people to feel this is like a home. They can feel assured I'm going to address their problems."

Dr. Gasca has patients who travel nearly an hour to receive his care and be in the environment he creates.
