What food makes you think of summer? Do you have a favorite recipe? Hit reply and let us know! We'll add your recipe to an online Seahawk Summer Cookbook that will be made available later this summer. Like Stephania Bloodworth '00, Chair of the Alumni Association, shared at Commencement in early May, we are all proud of our newest graduates. Welcome to our alumni family that now spans more than 106,000 global changemakers!
Like No Other: The Campaign for UNCW is in its final days, and we hope you will join nearly 15,000 alumni who have already shown their philanthropic support for the Seahawk experience. Make your gift by June 30 to be part of this historic investment in the future of your alma mater!

Seahawks are getting accolades for their important work in education.
UNCW is the first CAA school to win the league’s baseball and softball tournament championships in the same year.
Alumni and friends enjoyed an evening at the Charlotte Knights Picnic in late May.
As UNCW prepares for orientation and welcoming our new Seahawks, campus is buzzing with activity. Youth programs like Marine Quest, along with athletic camps and swim lessons, are popular. These activities often create the first memorable UNCW experience for many alumni.
Thursday mornings through July, enjoy a creative and entertaining respite from the summer heat during Seahawk Family Arts Matinees (Seahawk FAM).
The iconic Soaring Seahawk sculpture located in the middle of the Wagoner Drive traffic circle is taking flight this summer to a new “nest” nearby. The university plans to move the sculpture to a larger space on the historic Hoggard Hall lawn.
Join UNCW leadership, the UNCW Alumni Association Board of Directors and award honorees for the Distinguished Awards Reception on June 22 in UNCW's beautiful Legacy Hall to celebrate our 2024 honorees and their outstanding achievements.
